Kemblesville United Methodist Church is sponsoring a pasta night at the church between 5 and 7 p.m. Please contact the church at 610-255-5280 for tickets $8 for adults and $5 for children 4-12, and free for children 3 and under. Advance ticket purchase is requested. You can pick up at the door. All proceeds will go toward the 2013 KUMC mission trip to Dominican Republic to build a home for those in need. The Chester County Beekeepers Association (CCBA) will present full-day seminars for both beginner and experienced beekeepers at the Westtown School in Chester County, PA on Saturday, March 2, 2013. The agendas for both the Beginner and Master groups will consist of individual presentations during morning and afternoon sessions. Morning/afternoon refreshment breaks and lunch served in the Westtown School dining room are included. Healing Prayer Ministry located at the Avondale Presbyterian Church, 416 Pennsylvania Avenue, Avondale, Pa., will start Saturday, February 2nd to be open for prayer the first Saturday of each month 10 to 12 noon. Avon Grove NFL Flag Football has begun on-line registration for players 5 through 16. A You must register from our web site, www.agflag.com, mail-in or walk-in registrations are no longer accepted. Spring registration will run through March 16, late registrations are not accepted. Proof of age is required for new players. Age requirements are determined by the players age on September 1, 2013. Games will be played on Sunday afternoons in Kemblesville starting early April, and will run through early June. Cost is $75 per player. Each month, PRO-ACT (Pennsylvania Recovery Organization–Achieving Community Together) hosts a Family Addiction Education Program to help individuals and families recognize and address an addiction problem in a spouse, parent, child or other loved one. Facilitated by trained volunteers who have been in the same situation, this information and support program begins on the first Wednesday of each month and runs for three consecutive Wednesday evenings, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Government Services Building in West Chester. The Kennett Area Senior Center meals are provided by the Chester County Department of Aging Services Congregate Meal Program. They are free to individuals over 60, but individuals must contact the center at 610-444-4819 two days in advance to reserve the meal. A voluntary confidential contributions is appreciated and applied toward the cost of the meal.
