Jewelry theft
A man who appeared to be between 25 and 30 years old kicked open a door and took Jewelry, money, medication a china on North Union Street in Kennett Township on Dec. 21 between 10:30 and 11 a.m. the suspect is described as between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet tall, slender, wearing a dirty-white sweatshirt with hood and two blue stripes around the shoulders, jeans, dark navy plain baseball cap and carrying a white tablet, police said.

Someone took UPS packages from East Highland Road in Highland Township on Dec. 19 at 10 p.m., police said.

Jefferson Davis Stewart IV, 30, of Kemblesbille was found to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop on Route 796 south of Baltimore Pike in Penn Township on Dec. 27 at 11:33 p.m., police said.

Someone entered a shed in the 5200 block of Homeville Road in Upper Oxford Township overnight on Dec. 26 and took 20 cases of Stihl Bar and Saw Chain bar oil lubricant, police said.
