Kennett Kings win District 28 title

The KAU Kennett Kings 15- and 16-year-old baseball team recently captured the District 28 Senior International championship with a 9-1 victory over West Side of West Chester.

The Kings went 4-0 in the event, outscoring its opposition by a combined margin of 49-8 in the tournament. By winning the District 28 title, the team earned the right to host a best-of-three sectional series with District 14 champion Greencastle. The winner of that will advance to the Pennsylvania State Tournament.
