Science in the Summer, that popular program sponsored by Glaxo Smith Kline and the Franklin Institute, arrived at the Avon Grove Library on Monday, having entertained the children of Oxford last week.

Teacher Bill Turner enthralled the 16 kids in the class with demonstrations of the ins and outs of physical and chemical changes. During the school season, he teaches at East Goshen Elementary School.

Students at Avon Grove Library's Science in the Summer report the results of capillary action experiments on Monday.

Early on Monday, the 7- and 8-year olds ripped paper, mixed vinegar and baking soda, and generally had a good time.
